The latest update, which allows far more faces to appear in the Gallery at one time on the iPad, is a great improvement. Sometimes, it can be a bit unstable for the odd individual, but this is more to do with the internet than the app, which does try to reconnect to the group. Not the same as being there, but still better than nothing. My husband and I were also able, along with other relatives, to drop in, virtually, on our granddaughter’s birthday celebration and watch her blow out her candles. It took some of us (including a couple aged 89 and 90) a little while to get used to it, but has proved wonderful for over 20 of us to be able to get together regularly, talking very naturally in our own homes.
